Avoid Taking your To OLOWU, Ikeja for Repair

Let me start by introducing Olowou. Olowu is a popular Automobile Market and workshop in Ikeja, Lagos. In this particular Market, you see different kinds of street hustlers and Artisans both the ones that went for Apprenticeship and the one ones who are just freelancers. On the 25th, August 2022, a Bolt trip took me from Lagos Mainland to the Island and just as I was about getting to destination, a trip request came in. Wow! This is the type of trips I like taking and luckily, this trip was taking me back to the mainland (I don't like working on the island because of the traffic in that axis). As soon as I dropped my last Rider, put a call through to the new Rider to be sure she was truly heading to the mainland. She confirmed it. In no time, I got to her street but there was a big problem. 200kilometres away from her hotel, there was heavy water on the road. DRAINAGES were covered with water. I wanted to turn back but I was greedy. To cut the long story short, I swam through the...

Wonders they say shall not end. Picked this guy between the ages of 23-26years from governor's road, Ikotun. His destination was Alapere. On getting to ojota, google maps directed us to take straight and go through Chinese instead of Ogudu road. I called his attention to it and asked him if he had a preferred route. He reply by telling me to follow the map. I complied by following the map. Getting to abiola Gardens, some policemen flagged me down, I tried not to stop but they managed to double cross us. The rider was asked to come down for search, they took him into their Van and started searching his phone... I sensed fear on his face. Minutes later, him and 2 of the policemen walked up to me to give the yahoo rider my account number for him to transfer money to then I withdraw it for the policemen. I told them point black I don't have account. The policemen then suggested they had who he could transfer to. They entered my car and asked me to drive them back to Ogudu road. (M...

On this very day, I was some within Ikoyi relaxing in my car when my phone rang. I checked and it was a trip request from uber. I picked as usual.  I tried calling Rider but I realised his was International Number so I didn't bother to call since it won't connect.  As I was navigating back to my uber App Home screen, a in-pp message popped in saying "Hello! Please, I am already outside waiting for you " I then replied "I'm on my way sir ". Started my car and drove to pick up.  My rider was a Whiteman (Whitemen doesn't waste drivers time. Once they makes request for ride, they are ready ) truly ready and waiting for me. We exchanged pleasantry and he came. I look into his eyes but he looked worried. Well, thought to myself... it's non of my business. Make i mind wetin carry me come here.  I started trip....I screamed "yey". My Rider asked if all is well and I replied YES. His destination was AJEGUNLE. AJEGUNLE is a popular dirty and Gh...

How A Driver Charged Me extravagantly to jump start my car.

Image
A Driver made me  pay him 3500 yesterday night around 12:30am on eleko road  to jump start my car. All my pleading to pay him 1500-2k proved abortive. He insisted I pay 3500. I had no choice than to pay. He had to confirm his payment before he could help me else, he would leave. Thankfully, he got his alert in no time. Brought his battery to start my car and after many attempts to start my car, it finally started after about 2omins. (my car did hard starting ). My car started, I closed my bonnet and waited for him to fix his battery so we can path our ways. Only for him to connect his battery but battery don die😂😂😂 Dude now wan me to help him free of charge to help jump start his car. Omo, I collected 4500 before helping him too so he could feel the pain of being extorted.   What happens to humanity?  Over Billing someone in distress.  I'm sure he learnt his lesson. How a Fellow Driver Robbed Me Trying and pretending to Help Me

Image
Sometimes ago, My car broke down around 1am, after heavy downpour because I drove through flooded area. The car stopped in the middle of the road.  Luckily, some Co-Pilots came to help but several attempts  which yielded no result. I finally stopped a another Driver and explained my ordeal to him. (He had  slight idea of what was wrong) .  According to him, the flood affected the electrical aspects of my vehicle but after several attempts, We still  couldn't get it to start. while doing all these, I never knew he had a mission. Omo, I losed guard and this guy ransacked my car and stole my money close to 8k.  To cut the long story short after some minutes a security personnel came to me and after helping me push the car to a safe location... I went to my car to pay him but to my surprise the money is gone which almost led to them destroying my car because I couldn't settle them... I tried calling the the driver but he didn't pick up.... After some minutes I ...
