My Near Kidnap Experience By A Rider.


 I got request  last Night while still at home and preparing to go hustle and it was raining heavily. Rider called shortly after I accepted the request. Telling me he wanted me to help him pick up a friend and sent her phone number. 

Some how, I fell into deep sleep and woke up 2hours later. I quickly grabbed my phone to check the request and to check if I had missed calls but to my amazement, I didn't miss any call. Nobody called me  for 2hours ke while sleeping and I had someone waiting for me for pick up? I thought to myself.

Neither Rider nor his friend I was going to pick called me to know why I was delaying. Well, I wanted to cancel the request but low and behold, I had mistakenly started the trip why sleeping and it was a card trip. Still wondering why these people didn't call me but I thought they went back to sleep too since it was raining. 

However, I decided to go pick up in order not to look like I intentionally started trip and you and I know what will happen if such case is reported to Ehailing companies. I set out but my intuition keep telling me not to go. 

I entered road, flood and traffic was everywhere. When I finally got to pick up, the lady I was there to pick was not taking calls. I called several times but no response. It was at this point I then thought "what if this is a set up to kidnapped me?" I quickly made a U-turn. It was a very quiet,  lonely environment and it was late 11pm.

I dialed the number for the last time and as I was raising  my head, I had been surrounded by almost six hefty men. I needed nobody to tell me what was about to happen now. 

MY Engine was still running so I moved immediately but instead of selecting a lower gear(gear 1), I wrongly selected higher gear (gear 4)out of fear and the car went off. I was caught. 

Fortunately, some Military vehicles were passing at the time , saw these guys beating and forcing me out of my car and I was screaming on top of my lung. 

They stopped to know what was up. Some of the guys ran away but those who were not lucky enough were caught and taken away and I was told to go to home and take care of myself and I woke up. It was a dream. 


This is my near kidnap experience. Let's be careful this period. No be all request you must go on.
